Introduction
Grupo Dalinde San Ángel Inn, a hospital network comprising eight hospitals that had historically operated with different providers, systems, and levels of technological maturity, needed to convert that fragmentation into an integrated clinical operation. The implementation of Eden Diagnostic OS supported the complete migration of all eight sites, integrating imaging workflows from diverse environments, including systems such as Fuji Synapse and Carestream by Philips, and enabling a common platform for visualization, interpretation, storage, interoperability, and study management. Today, DSAI processes approximately 15,000 studies per month on the platform.

The challenge
Building a common operational standard across a fragmented hospital network
DSAI's main challenge was not simply changing PACS, but integrating a hospital network built from independent operations. Each hospital had its own technological history, its own processes, and its own way of operating medical imaging. The organization faced key challenges:
- Operational heterogeneity: differences in protocols, administrative systems, workflows, data capture, study retrieval, and interpretation tools across the eight sites.
- Isolation between hospitals: physicians had less visibility into studies performed at other sites, operational teams had to adapt to different processes depending on the hospital, and the institution lost the ability to manage medical imaging as a single group operation.
The solution
A phased migration toward a common platform across the entire network
Eden implemented a migration and integration strategy designed to respect the group's heterogeneous reality and build a common operation. The project was structured in two phases:

With Eden, DSAI moved from a fragmented hospital operation to a more integrated, standardized, and collaborative medical imaging network:
- Consolidated operation: eight sites and approximately 15,000 monthly studies on a single platform, regardless of each hospital's prior systems.
- Cross-site interoperability: credentialed physicians can consult, access, and report studies according to permissions and roles, supporting collaboration between hospitals and the leverage of shared medical resources.
- Digital experience for patients and referring physicians: more efficient access to images and results, with reduced dependence on physical printouts.
- Group-level technology foundation: centralization that makes it possible to optimize costs, improve traceability, and build a homogeneous radiology operation on a single technology layer.
More than a PACS migration, the DSAI case represents a network transformation: the conversion of eight hospitals with distinct technological histories into a common medical imaging operation, integrated on a single platform.
