When the worklist empties, the Garden of Eden opens

New in Eden PACS: when you sign your last study, your screen opens onto a landscape that follows your local time and weather.
Inside the interpretation room, the sky never changes. Starting today, it does.
You spend your days in a blue room. The lights stay low so the images stay clear, and the only thing that changes is the worklist. You can get through a full shift without seeing the sky change, then walk out to find it’s already dark.
Some of the most consequential work in medicine happens in rooms without windows. You deserve more than that. We build the software that fills your screen for hours at a time. So we made it give something back: a pause to feel the grace of work that makes miracles possible.
What it does
When you sign your last study, Eden PACS replaces the empty worklist with a landscape. Your screen says one thing: No studies remaining. Take a breath, you’re done. When a new study arrives, your worklist comes back.
The first time you open your Study List, Eden PACS asks to use your location. Enable it, and the Garden shows the real weather where you are. Choose “Not now,” and it follows your institution’s location instead.
It follows your day
The landscape isn’t a still image. It’s set to your local time and weather.
If you finish at 7 a.m., the light is still low and cool across the rock. By early afternoon, the shadows are short. Toward evening, the cliffs turn warm, then gray, then dark. When it’s cloudy where you are, it’s cloudy in the Garden too. It’s the view you would have if your room had a window.
Why an empty state
An empty worklist is the only point in your day when the screen asks nothing of you. Most software fills it with a gray box and “No results.” We wanted it to mark the end of your work.
You spend the day looking for what’s wrong. The Garden is the one thing on your screen with nothing to find. It’s simply there when you’re done.
Finish your worklist today and see it for yourself.
