Eden’s journey begins when 8-year-old Julián Ríos, now our CEO and co-founder, lived through the fight against breast cancer alongside his mother.

From diagnosis, treatment, follow-up visits, to interactions with doctors and all types of personnel, he realized firsthand the deficiencies and enormous shortcomings of the health system. He noticed how everything seemed to be designed to favor every person involved in the process, except the patient.

Something had to change. There was much to do; however, Julián knew that great transformations cannot be achieved by one person alone.

At only 16 years old, he invited those who would be his partners in the transformation of health systems. Together, they dedicated themselves to reflection, experimentation, and inventiveness until they gave life to a totally new product. This is how the foundations of a company with global impact were laid: this is how Eden Medical was born.

What began as a personal motivation to improve the diagnosis of breast cancer for women in Mexico evolved over time, and became the dream and obsession to improve the quality of life for millions of patients. 

Today, with more than 4 million patients treated with Eden Medical, we can declare that dream a reality.
