With more than 13 years operating in the state of Chihuahua and with three branches in the main areas of the state, Laboratorio C10 took the step towards digitalization in the delivery of imaging results to its patients.
Its offer includes sonograms/ultrasound, simple and dental X-rays, mammograms and CT scans. Eden PACS Catalyzes Your Delivery of Imaging Results
Initially, its delivery of digital results was limited only to laboratory tests; however, Laboratori C10 was looking for a solution that would also allow it to make a digital delivery for its imaging studies and thus provide superior and digital care for its entire range of studies.
So they decided to adopt Eden and since then they have noticed how they prevent their patients from going around to bring the results to the doctor. “This tool makes it easier for staff to work and increases the speed of patient service,” says Dr. Encarnación.
Submitting results through Eden PACS further strengthened its offer of imaging studies, of which they offer all modalities, except magnetic resonance imaging. “Entering Eden, selecting the study and sending it to whoever requests it in minutes, greatly facilitates our work,” said the CEO of C10.
Their radiology staff is satisfied with the purchase of Eden PACS, and they mention that the tools in their DICOM viewer are quite advanced and facilitate their work of interpreting studies. Other PACS only send images, but they don't allow you to send the interpretation.

By hiring Eden, C10 was able to reduce environmental impact and operating costs by eliminating the use of printed plates, which can cost up to $60 per unit and represents up to 40% of the improvement budget.
In addition, the monthly savings of having digital images are at least 23%. Radiologist Verónica Pérez also highlights the benefits of the DICOM viewer in her daily life, such as tools for her reports and the possibility of collaborating with doctors remotely.
C10 is evaluating options to expand and determine what areas and tools to invest in to continue offering more modern, efficient and digitalized healthcare.
